I call this “The Hats Parade”, or “My Apologies to Dr. Seuss and Holly Hobbie.” This was the main image for a poster whose spot illustrations can be seen here and here. My original sketch didn't emphasize the hats enough, which was the theme of the poster. So the hats got bigger, and the design got weirder. I promise I was only drinking coffee when I did this.
